The Heart of the Matter

Yesterday I spent several hours painting a large heart on the new piece I am painting. Obviously this is anatomy I am used to dealing with but I usually listen to them rather than paint them. I really enjoyed the session and was pleased with how things were looking when I stopped painting at 11pm last night. Next thing I have to do on this piece is a couple of stripey noses - the ones I'm more used to are spotty!
