I'm sure there are several good reasons why you shouldn't put paint brushes in your mouth. Apart form the obvious risks of exposure to various chemicals another reason became obvious to me when I was painting today and I had to turn the canvas round. I did this with the wet brush stuck in my mouth and succeeded in painting an unwanted streak of paint across the canvas. It's a bad habit I've got into but I need to make a conscious effort not to do it!
On a more positive note my green paints and I are back on speaking terms. Things were a bit touch and go at first but I quickly got onto the swing of things and managed to repaint the scenery of the piece I'm painting at the moment. It took a while but I was happy with the outcome in the end.
The next job is to paint several hearts and flowers and finish some fine detail work, and it will be ready for me to start adding some glazes.
